From a young age, Michelle’s passion for martial arts ignited after attending her first Judo Class at 10 years old. From the moment she stepped on the mats, she knew martial arts was something she wanted to pursue with the utmost professionalism. As her commitment to training grew, so did her skills. Becoming a star in local tournaments and eventually leading her to becoming a Professional Judo Athlete.
Seeking to enhance her ground game, she ventured into Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Michelle was opened to a whole other level of ground techniques and became enamored with the sport. Her passion for BJJ has led to countless gold medals and a myriad of achievements. In 2022, after winner her division and open class at IBJJ World Masters, she was promoted to Black Belt by Professor Anderson Silverio. Michelle continues to shine as an active competitor, constantly pushing herself to compete at the highest level both national and internationally.
Driven to excel on and off the mats, Michelle balanced her rigorous training schedule with her studies. She pursued a bachelor’s degree in physical education, channeling her passion for fitness and athletics into her education. Gaining this degree has allowed her to understand the physiological aspects of training from a more scientific approach only improving her and her athletes results.
